Then, it "pins" a digital version of the clothing onto your image.
The coolest part is that this is not just a flat image. It is a live video. You can walk back and forth, wave your arms, or spin around to see if the fabric pulls in the wrong places. It is like having a paper doll version of yourself, but the clothes are 3D and react to your every move. This helps take the guesswork out of shopping because you can see if a certain cut or color actually complements your frame.
For those of us who are not tech-savvy, the best part is that you do not need to learn any complicated software. You just use your phone’s camera through the Amazon app. The AI does all the heavy lifting in the background, calculating how the fabric should fold and move based on your unique shape.
This technology is a huge step toward making sure the "Buy" button does not lead to a "Return" trip to the post office. It gives you the confidence of a physical store from the comfort of your own bedroom.
