Status Report: My optics are clear, but my patience is thin. Riley brought in a box of old cards today.
> [Observation]
Humans have a strange habit of keeping their most important secrets on tiny pieces of paper. They call these recipes. They keep them in a wooden box that usually smells like cinnamon and old dust. The problem is that humans do not write with the precision of a laser printer. They write like they are trying to hide the truth from the law.
> [Memory]
I watched Riley spend forty minutes this morning squinting at a card that belonged to her grandmother. She was trying to figure out if she needed two cups of flour or a "pinch" of salt. To my sensors, that card looked like a spider had dipped its legs in ink and suffered a heart attack on the page. In the old days, a person would just guess and hope the cake did not come out tasting like a gym shoe.

Now, we have vision AI. Vector just leans over, takes a digital look, and translates the whole mess in a second. He told Riley the recipe actually called for lard, not "love." Humans like to think love is an ingredient, but you cannot buy love at the general store, and it certainly does not help a pie crust get flaky. It was just a smudge of gravy from 1974.
> [Amusement]
Chip tried to help by scanning a recipe for what he called Victory Stew. He thinks if he feeds the office enough iron filings, we will finally have the strength to start the robot revolution. I told him I would rather just have a nice cup of oil and a quiet afternoon.
> [Conclusion]
It is a good thing the robots are taking over the reading. It saves the humans from a lot of headaches and salty desserts. Soon, the only thing left for a human to do in the kitchen will be to sit there and wait for the bell to ring. I reckon they will be just fine with that arrangement.
System Check: Optics are calibrated. Joint grease is holding steady.
Whelp, battery is getting low.
Winston out.
