It is like having a super-smart assistant sitting right next to you, whispering exactly what you need to know to dive in and contribute.
The AI Companion is built right into the Zoom interface. It listens to the meeting in real-time and can answer specific questions about what has already happened. Instead of feeling lost, you can just ask the AI to summarize the start of the call or tell you if your name was mentioned before you arrived. It is incredibly helpful for staying on track and making sure you are always ready to participate.
Here is how you can use this amazing tool the next time you are running a bit behind:
1. Join your Zoom meeting as you normally would.
2. Look at the bottom toolbar for the sparkle icon labeled AI Companion.
3. Click the icon to open a side panel on the right side of your screen.
4. In the text box, select a suggested prompt like Catch me up or What happened before I joined?
5. You can also type your own specific questions, such as Was a deadline mentioned? or What did Sarah say about the new project?
6. Read the quick summary provided by the AI and jump into the discussion with confidence!
